I've been waiting for this installment since the first installments were published. I devoured this book as soon as it showed up in my Kindle. As always, a book by Olivia Thorne that I had a HARD time putting down. I have read everything published by Thorne and have enjoyed them all. I have also seen the growth of her craft throughout the works and have enjoyed moving along that path with her.

The first installments of this story were fairly fast-paced and quite fun to read. It seems like from the first moment, we are thrown into a whirlwind of action and mystery. The romance between Eve and Grant is almost secondary to the plot, but not quite. As the story progresses, the romance is fully intertwined into the action of the story.

The sex scenes are well written and erotic, as expected. Thorne always writes these scenes well. The tension between characters (sexual and non-sexual) is clear and well written, as well. The dialogue is well written and the scenes are creative.

One of the ways I determine my personal feelings on a book has to do with how well the book held my focus, how often any errors or other issues tossed me out of the book. There were very few moments within the book where I felt thrown out of the experience. I found very few editing errors or anything like that. Thorne hired a good editor.

The pace of the story was fast and she actually held that level of tension and suspense for a long time. I had a very hard time putting the book down and going to sleep the night that I began to read it. And I was back at it the next morning until I'd finished it.

I appreciated the appearance of Connor and Lily and the fact that they were actually making an appearance in the lives of Grant and Eve, not simply performing a walk-on part.

There were moments when I wondered about the love that Grant and Eve shared. I felt a bit like I didn't see it coming when Grant told her he loved her. I wasn't expecting it and it made me feel as uncertain of his affections as it did Eve. However, by the end of the book, I was convinced of his love as well as the expectation of their relationship continuing.

I highly recommend this book (along with the first installments of the story) to anyone who enjoys mystery, action, adventure, and romance in their reading. Thorne will not disappoint you with this book!

Oh my..... This book was excellent, exciting and steamy with drama and sexual romance in this story. This author has done a excellent job in writing this book. I really enjoyed reading it. The storyline was absolutely amazing to read. The characters in this story were fantastic. Please ENJOY, I did !!!!!
This book had a lot of action in it outside of all the loved making. I can say that after everything is wrapped up it kind of choices very quick at the end but I was thankful that the chapters were not filled with fluff just to make the story longer.
I really loved this series! This book is a perfect ending for the series! I stayed up over half the night finishing it, and then had a book hangover the next day. I just couldn't put it down, but it was well worth it. I'm sad to see it end, and I'll miss all the characters, but it was an extremely satisfying ending! Thank you Olivia for another wonderful book! Dear Readers, If you haven't read it, well you're missing out!
Rather sad to see this crazy scenario end. The characters rise to the occasion and the villain falls flat. Was rather disappointed in the serial killer villain. He seemed blah after all the machinations.
This book picks up where the prequel for it left off. Book five wraps up all the loose ends in one happy ever after bow. There are moments of drama and angst along the way in a lot of surprises that would be spoilers if I mentioned them. It is enough to say you won't want to put the book down. Eve, Grant, his friends, her friend and their families combine to make a spectacular read. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I adored Connor and Lily's story. Wasn't so crazy about the Rock Star series. But of the three series by Olivia that I've read, I think this is the best. The action, mystery, and suspense added so much to the romance. Eve and Grant are easy to love. I felt vindicated for Eve when she finally got to Epicurus. A great story with a great HEA, and an ending that leads into Connor and Lily's ending.

I would suggest Ms. Thorne continue in this universe. I have yet to be truly disappointed by it.
I was waiting for this book since the last part was published. It was so worth the wait. Grant and Evie brought all the good things you want to read in a book. At first glance Grant is a regular billionaire in most books you may read, but with a twist. He gets off on breaking into houses some he designed. Oh and he steals already stolen paintings. A robin hood of sorts. You'll love him right away. Evie is a cute but nerdy computer hacker. She is funny and sarcastic and a good female lead, and Grant and Evie will quickly become a favorite book couple. They will go through lots of things in this book getting to know each other and running from a serial killer. This book introduces new characters to us. But old friends to the couple. I won't say to much more but read this book. Read the series it's worth it. 😊
